CodeTwo Public Folders aids groupwork

Support for Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft Office 2010, improved communication protocols comprise the latest changes in the new release of CodeTwo Public Folders. From 1 Dec the application is available for download from the website of the publisher - CodeTwo.

CodeTwo Public Folders is an application to share in Microsoft Outlook contacts, calendars, Office documents with other users in the corporate or home network.

"Version 4.5 works with Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2", - says Michal Bednarz, the owner of CodeTwo. "The application is fully compatible with the latest product of Microsoft, Office 2010".

Along with bringing the application in line with the latest releases of Windows, CodeTwo programmers have introduced a wide range of improvements to simplify the work with CodeTwo Public Folders 4.5 itself. These include a new option in the context menu for personal folders that can be shared now in a single click, support for indexing in Windows Desktop Search as well as Vista and Windows 7\'s indexers, changed synchronization algorithms facilitating switching between online and offline modes, and finally improved synchronization between Outlook Add-ins thanks to data compression.

"The remaining improvements will surely please server administrators in companies. One of them shortens the time required to deploy the program, and I believe we will all agree that time is a precious commodity", says Michal Bednarz. "To simplify the installation of the application we merged previously two separate setup files into one installer. What is more, the installer is now capable of looking up the currently used version of the program and suggesting whether an upgrade is necessary. We have also changed the licensing system - the current one eliminates the need to send us the registration code from the program in order to receive the activation".

CodeTwo Public Folders is one of the flagship applications of CodeTwo company.
